Fabric Shears Sharpening
Goldys Brand sharpens fabric shears. We have sharpened some really abused fabric shears and brought them back to where they cut better than when they were new!
We can fix most improperly sharpened shears (extra charge for repair).
Recently we sharpened a brand new pair of fabric shears that our customer had just purchased. These shears would not cut right our of the box.
We sharpened those shears and when we finished they cut as well as all the other shears we sharpened for this customer.
Some Examples of Repairs
- Shears sharpened at wrong angle.
- Shears sharpened un-level resulting in poor cutting.
- Shears “sharpened” using a machine designed to sharpen knives, usually includes sharpened at wrong angle.
- Shears dropped or abused to cause damage to the cutting edges or alignment.
